My demographics
Being on DeviantArt lets me see the type of people who my artwork and writing appeals to since I can see who follows me or favorites my stuff.  Unsurprisingly, its mostly weird morbid people from eastern Europe and goth teenagers.  I can also see the search keywords on my blog, for how people find me on search engines. The two most popular ones are variations of “man in hot dog suit”...

Sad realization
No matter what heights of not giving a fuck I manage to attain, I will never reach the guru-like level of not giving a fuck as that guy who I saw walking his dog wearing only a towel.

Trial by ordeal
From Wikipedia: “Trial by ordeal is a judicial practice by which the guilt or innocence of the accused is determined by subjecting them to an unpleasant, usually dangerous experience. In some cases, the accused are considered innocent only if they survive the test or if their injuries heal. In medieval Europe, like trial by combat, trial by ordeal was considered a judicium Dei: a procedure...

2012
You know what? Its 2012. Its officially the future. We can talk to each other on video chat and have cars that tell us how to get to where we are driving.  I think its high time that we start looking like its the future. We need the shiny silver jumpsuits and those triangular shoulder things and hats that have antennas on them.  Here is how H.G. Wells thought that people in the future would look...

Hate and terror
After Bush left office, people seemed to mostly stop calling terrorism “terror”.  THE FORCES OF TERROR.  I am glad that we’ve stopped talking like goddamn children there and have gone back to calling it “terrorism”.  But we still call discrimination “hate”, which I think is equally stupid. As in “hate groups”. Why not call them...

I hate the idea of karma.
I believe that the universe doesn’t happen to give a fuck about how I act. Other than laws of physics, which like one would expect a law pushed by the structure of reality, are impossible for me to break. I don’t think the universe would enforce its laws like a parent and punish or reward people after the fact. If reality doesn’t want me doing something, I won’t be able to....

I am sorry I doubted you, younger self
When I was little, I remember seeing the movie Congo. I thought it was the dumbest movie ever, but noticed that I was a huge blockbuster and everyone was talking about it. Was I missing something? I assumed that I just didn’t “get” it since it seemed to be hugely popular.  Now, in my adultiness, I saw part of the movie again, and apologized to my past self for blaming him. That...
